Hey anyone,
im thinking about getting a bass guitar and learning how to play. however, i dont wanna spend more than about 600 on one. anyone have any idea what kind i should look at, because i honestly have no idea. I figure an educated dave-fan who plays bass could help me out more than a salesperson at the store.
thanks

You should look at MTD Kingston, Fender Jazz basses, Warwick Rockbasses and Spectors...I personally like all of those and think they are worth the money.
You should have posted this in the other instruments forum for a better response though.

i recommend fender jazz because its durable, versitile, and has a great sound and feel for the money(less than 500).
