What the...? is this a hoax?

one of my friends sent me this but if you look at the dmb.com website says it's a hoax...but...it is cnn.com:

All day rumors have been going around about Dave's death. It is completly false.

It's not actually CNN, there is a website that allows you to make "fake" CNN pages

yeah, i just tried to go back to the site and it was a thing about "www.spo0fed.com"..."The Fake CNN.com Generator"...so nevermind.
