Not the right forum....i know......but why is it when you ask a question on this forum, there is always some asshole to leave some stupid ass response just to be a smart ass. I mean majority of the community is great and always helpful...dont get me wrong. But if your going to leave a post that doesn't answer or make an effort to help the person, DONT POST AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's probably because they get sick of the same thing over and over.

still no reasn to be rude about it. Just post a link to an older discussion, or tell them where and what to search for it.

All it is is a question, and if it's an old one, just give a simple kind answer to where they can get the info.

And as long as you're venting, did you see hunter's post on dustydave's video thread? I get pissed off every time I see it and I feel like posts like that should get taken down completely.

please, you should take everything on this board(and just about every other board) with a grain of salt.... Most asshole comments are made by someone with about 15 posts that doesnt know anything about the person theyre talking to, let alone the subject matter. And regarding the "asshole" comments, i'm sure you are referring to the reaction you got from asking about daves strings. First of all people here get touchy when you dont stick to the right forums(i.e. this thread) and secondly its frowned upon to just try to emulate dave without trying things out for yourself. Not that its really a big deal or anything, but someone saying "who cares" is just a shortened version of the same speech that we've all read about 10000 times, where you tell the person to find out whats best for them instead of whats best for dave.

These types of posts usually yield the exact type of responses you don't want = negative trite bullsh*t.

Don't sweat it. If someone gets you down, address it in a civil manner and move on. If someone gets pleasure from hurling insults behind the safety net that is their computer monitor, so be it.
