Gravedigger strumming
Gravedigger strumming
I don't have a very good feel for rythm and strumming. Does anybody know how to strum Gravedigger? What's the strumming pattern? I have been listening to the song a lot but I can't make it up myself. Thanks for your help.

what i've found with dave strumming, is that he always keeps his hand moving. he rarely ever stops or changes speed. there were some hard struming songs, like granny or jtr, that i couldn't get for a while, but then i just started stuming at a constant speed, sometimes upstrokes, and the timing of the song just fell into place. hope this helps...

Nope, Jared has said that Dave doesn't palm mute at all. I'm finally starting to get the muting down with my left hand... it takes a lot of practice let me tell you
But, no, he does not palm mute.

righto - once you play enough of dave's music, your left hand will do it for you , no thinking, you'll just start muting stuff all over the place - just keep up the practice2StepGranny wrote:Nope, Jared has said that Dave doesn't palm mute at all.
