well Elliot, I do enjoy reading your criticism as you can back it up with decent facts/opinions, but as well as you know, the majority of people on here are going to disagree, because it is a DMB message board. I'm just stating the obvious. You seem to be a smart individual, really, use your intellectual prowess to praise some people instead of always looking at the negative things...it's more enjoyable that way...

i didn't say he was a great songwriter anyway... i can't stand either of their lyrics, but some of mayer's guitar (and dave's as well) makes me want to smash my guitar in half... but your body's a wonderland, why georgia, bigger than my body, and half of his other work is sickening...

I'm just trying to incite controversy, there are certainly things I think dave does well that I have highlighted on occasion, just the majority of the time I don't get into it, and I feel I'm balanced, like I don't like tim, I really don't, but I admit he's an amazing technical player, a positive thing, he just doesn't have a good grasp of melody, but yeah, I make fun.
