Yeah, so I finally got a letter to Dave about DMBTabs.com...

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Whatever happened to jpittman? I haven't seen him post in a long time.

I think that's sweet. Just even that he knows that this site exists. I wish he knew how much time we spend here just trying to learn more about him, his music, and how to play it...I think, despite his status, that he would be taken back by it and humbled in a sense. Just my opinion...

Good god ... this is AWESOME news Kanter ... I hope all the hard work all of you site admins put into the site is finally paying off .. Furthermore, I'd like to add that it feels great to be a part of something which has the likelihood of taking off this rapidly (aka the DVD and Dave perhaps seeing this site).

I doubt Dave would publically post on this message board however ... despite the fact that all of us think he is a great musician and want to play like him, the possibility that "word" (aka the media, Dave is a popular guy, and im sure *IF* he ever joined, not one of us could keep our huge mouths shut that Dave is on our messageboard) got out that people could maybe have feedback and "chat" with Dave on an internet messageboard so easily accessible as DMBTabs.com would be far too great ... I mean seriously, this place would blow up quicker than a Taiwanese whore on payday, and we would get idiots joining this board with no musical interest in his songs or playing Dave style (the purpose of this site) posting pointless and mundane crap all in an effort to have their borderline retarded posts read by Dave Matthews. As amazing as it would be to have DM as a regular poster, the potential to kill the site and swamp it with teenage girls saying "I LOVE YOU DAVE LOL!!!111" is far too great. The only word that I've gotten from the lucky few who I know that claim to have met the acquiantance of Dave Matthews admit that he likes to keep everything low brow ... but STILL, its nice to dream, isnt it. Maybe Dave will join. And one day I'll shit marmosetts, too. Seriously though, if he ever did join, we would most definetley need to have membership qualifications to post, etc, etc.
Just some food for thought.

But back on the original subject matter, Dave thought this site was cool~!!!! HELL YEa! Its almost scary how that made us all as giddy as little school girls. GOOD WORK SITE ADMINS! CLAPCLAPCLAPCLAP.

Damnit. NOw back to work. As if I can concentrate now. Sheeesh. Media whores.

PEACE

cgalves...

It is not likely, but it is not out of the realm of possibility.

At one message board I post at, Yannick Tremblay (a defenceman on the Atlanta Thrashers) did in fact post a few times...

so Dave or somebody in the band could easily have seen the site, or perhaps posted on the boards (or browsed through them)... and unless they said something, nobody would ever know.

And they'd be smart not to post, and thats what everbody wants. We should forget about it cause cgalves is absolutely right. Itd be too dramamtic and everyone and their sister would be joining DMBTabs.com to talk to Dave Matthews. Sorry to say there is no way dave is gonna post on these boards, being known that hes Dave Matthews  . Dreams do come true though

Have you guys ever heard of 311???? Pnut posts all the time on their message board, and so do the rest of the guys every now and then... But mostly its Pnut and Hex that post. Their boards don't get too out of hand, but who knows with Dave Matthews

Mainly because of Crash into Me, Dave has teenybopper fans. But if he didn't write that song, they would be right up there with him IMEHO.(in my extremely humble opinion)

Crash started it, I Did It took it up a step, Space between took to a new level, and Where Are You Going certainly carried on the slump. When will dave come out with a really good single? Hopefully Gravedigger will!
