Oh, yes, and for the earlier request: Me & Her. I'm not sure of the date or if this was posted somewhere else yet. Here it is anyway.

So Much To Say is a bit harder but not much. Start slow, put the parts together and in 2 or 3 days you should be able to play it well enough for any DMB fan to recognize.
I hope that you have been playing guitar for much longer than me because after 2 or 3 days I was still struggling with playing the intro. I can play and sing most of the song now but the chorus is still eluding me. I think that I have been working on this song off and on now for 6 months or so, but I have only been playing guitar for about 2 years.

I've been playing guitar for less than 3 years, self-taught. It's just a matter of repetition and muscle memory. However, please don't misconstrue my meaning. I didn't mean to suggest that you will have the song mastered in 2 or 3 days, merely that it will be recognizable to anyone who's heard the song. I am still far from having mastered the song, as I am with a lot of the songs that I can play. But I can play them with a fair degree of confidence and accuracy, and people know what I'm playing. To master the song will take much longer than that, but that holds true for most songs in the DMB ctalogue. I didn't mean to trivialize the amount of skill required.

I'm suprised no one said "Loving Wings" or "Seek Up".

In my particular case, I can't get a hold of the rythm of the verse (for seek up).

I played a solo-acoustic version of 'Angel' at my sister's wedding. I didn't do the electric part, just the strumming of the chords. That's pretty easy, and it sounds pretty good by just letting the chords ring.

Awww......
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

easiest dave song...

Unread post by Evan » Mon Jan 23, 2006 6:04 pm

I would say that the two easiest Dave song are Proudest Monkey and Digging a Ditch, but you can get 'em all eventually, none of them are so hard that a little practise won't get you there.
