Apparently Dave has a Taylor T5

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Out of curiosity, what was the listed retail price when the DM3MD came out? I thought I once read like six grand somewhere, but I think I might be way off.

eh i think that guitar was prolly $4000, or $5000, only 234 were made, so that adds, and its a signature guitar, not like a clapton sig, or a few others that are readily made, but only a few of these are out, i think its worth it.

yes, well... actually now the only, way to get one (short of searching the entire country for the few not already in a private collection) is ebay, for eh $2500 you can get one.

these can go from full electric to full acoustic sound (everyone may know this already but in case someone doesnt). There was some commotion about them when the main picture on taylors website was jason holding a red one of these. also jason plays one in his gypsy mc video which you can find on his website in case anyone wants to see it in action.. http://www.jasonmraz.com
