whats do you think the hardest single part of any dave song?

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Well given that this is the Internet and everything is biased upwards by about 500% ... :)

If the songs are so easy, let's see a couple posted in the recording forum.

Don't even have to sing ... just play.

My guess is that most people that say stuff is easy still sound like I'm beating a badger with a wooden mallet.

Easy to me is being able to play something within 90% of the original artist's sound ... If you still fumble or get out of rhythm then the song hasn't been mastered and the "that song is easy" thing is a tad premature :)

It's not uncommon for a song to be easy for someone. To me, pretty much all of Dave's stuff comes easy to me. I'm not trying to brag. I've put up several clips and videos if you'd like to hear me play.

Overall, just because someone says something is easy does not mean they are bragging.

I think he's talking about performing at a pro level. That includes singing my friend.
I have yet to hear someone on these boards that performs at that level. I'm sure a few could after several years of performing live. It's the difference between amateur and professional, simple as that.

it's hardest for me to get thru the whole song without my hand feeling like it's gonna fall off...other than that, i've got the chords and rhythm down fine

#41 luther college intro is pretty hard
"If at all God's gaze upon us falls, it's with a mischievous grin."

The stretch is a bit hard. I can play it just not very quickly, but thats the hardest thing for me to play right now.

I found the rhythm of the verse of #41 harder to get down than the stretch at first. you have to listen to it D&T style to really figure it out. The album version has a lot of Tim fills that drown Dave out.
