Alright, no one attempted to answer them, but here you go.
1-With A Little Help From My Friends
2-George left during what was the Tickenburg serssions, which became the Get Back sessions, and finally realeased as the Let It Be album and video. George left the band for just a few days, then decided to come back.
3-John Lennon has said that Across the Universe is some of the best lyrics he wrote.
4-During the Beatles' stay in india, John was writing a song that was Yoko inspired at first, then after writing the first part, he looked at the floor, and there was a magazine with a gun on it. So he started writing about that.
5-Look At Me showed up on John's 1970 album, Plastic Ono Band (famous for the song Mother and Working Class Hero).
Well, there you go.

I am the beatles fan here! My John posters, my dvds, and my 24k gold plated record (real vinyl analog recorded record) of Imagine mounted on the wall with the lyrics of Imagine engraved into them with joh's face on it fading off to the right, with a block of wood from the door of his estate in ascot where John wrote the song and recorded the album, with the word IMAGINE painted on it. Plus a plaque saying there are only 9500 made, and never to be made again, to celebrate it's 25th aniversery, makes me the beatles expert, ya see.
Question for you

3) John has said that about a number of his songs, like happiness is a warm gun, revolution, and in my life.
4) a heroin needle. the song got banned from the radio.
5) Look at Me. Gotta love 50/50 chances.
Now its your turn.

2)What did the beatles hide behind at the manila airport while trying to avoid Phillipino radicals?
3) Who did John request to bring into the band after george quit during the Let it Be sessions?
4) What was Paul's first electric guitar?
5) During which one of the songs on Abbey Road does Paul crack up while playing?

Ok, I didn't come back to this thread, since you didn't answer them, and then I posted the answers. I now see you posted after I did that. So, since you missed the answers, here they are again.
1- With A Little Help From My Friends
2-NO, Paul was not the first to leave. He was the 3rd to leave. Here's what happened. John tols the rest of them he was leaving the group. He never made an announcment, though. Paul made his by releasing his first solo album. Ringo almost left during the White Album, but the rest of them saw how they havn't been really showing him that they loved his work. Once Ringo said he was thinking about leaving, the rest of them then told them what they weren't saying, but should have, and they became one big happy family again . . .
Now, during the Twikenberg sessions, which then changed into the Get Back sessions, and eventualy released as the Let It Be album and video. Now, George, he left during that for about 3 days. John even suggested that if he didn't come back that they should call clapton. George then came back, and they went right along.
3- John said that one of his best songs (lyricaly, not musicly) was Across the Universe. He has not said that about any other song. He has said some are his favorites, but not that he thinks lyricly, not musicly, it was one of the best songs he's done.
4- Now, during their stay in India, John was starting to write a song about Yoko, then he looked at the floor. He saw a magazine with a gun on it. So, he started writing about that. John NEVER shot up heroin. John & yoko did sniff a little time to time in the late 60s, but then soon quit. That experience is what the song Cold Turkey is about.
5-And you were right, Look At Me was on John's first major solo album (IMO), Plastic Ono Band (famous for the songs Mother and Working Class Hero). The song What's the New Mary Jane never made it onto an album. It only appeared on the Anthologies.
Now, for your questions
1- I don't follow auctions or anything.
2-I don't remember hearing about that. I even just watched the Phillipine section of the Anthology videos to double check. I didn't hear anything.
3-Clapton (if you knew this why did you get my question wrong about who left the Bealtes first, lol

4- Rosetti
5- I don't remember hearing any laughing. Are you talking about outakes that are on the Anthology CDs?

1) George's Fender rosewood telecaster, which he played at the concert on the apple rooftop in let it be. (George left, but he came back!)
2) They actually hid behind several buddhist monks. Read the anthology book to find that.
3) Correct. The Beatles, Eric Clapton, and Billy Preston. What a supergroup.
4) Correct, a lucky seven.
5) Listen very closely during Maxwells silver hammer. Paul chuckles while singing.

1- It was also played inside as well as outside, you can see on takes of Let It Be and Long And Winding Road (it is so much better without the strings. I can't wait for the de-specteralized version this fall.) (I never said that they couldn't come back. If I would have not said about then not able to come back, the beatles didn't break up til after the anthologies, because even with John not being there in person, they all were together and recorded again.)Davy28 wrote:1) George's Fender rosewood telecaster, which he played at the concert on the apple rooftop in let it be. 2- OH. I thought you mean what object they hid, like they hid pot behind a case, or money behind a table. I seriously knew about the monks, though. I just didn't read it right, I guess.
3-Yeah, I know. I didn't like Preston's version of Imagine on Come Together special. I thought the song was taken from it's truth, and pure state, and tried to make it a spectical with her singing. I was very appaled by the version of my favorite song of all time.
4- It looked like a nice guitar. I don't know why, but I like the look of the guitar John gave to Paul yo use for a while, when John got a new one, but then John sold it or traded it.
5- Hmmm, I'll have to listen to that. But, on the Anothology 2 cds, I LOVE it on And Your Bird Can't Sing, when John keeps screwing up and laughing! I like it a lot more than the final version! I just smile when I hear that version.

I can't wait for Let it Be sans Spector as well. Have you seen Let it Be? I seriously am obsessed with that movie, even though there is only one copy of it in the pacific northwest and you have to pay a $500 deposit to rent it that is only refunded if you return it on time.
I hope despectorized the long and winding road has that cute little Billy Preston organ solo from the movie in it. It is really pretty. I also love the versions besame mucho and Shake rattle and roll. they do in the movie. I'm so pissed that the anthology 3 version of SR&R was cut right in the middle to include blue suede shoes, because they cut out the part where Paul goes crazy on the piano.
