dave matthews always has two diffrent rythms going on between his voice and his playing. It's like rubbing you stomach and pating your head at the same time. It took a while but you can eventually catch on. What si normally do is take the lyrics one line at a time, you cant learn the whole thing at once wether it takes 10min or an hour to figure out those first couple lines altogether enventually you'll find the rythm in the lyrics and catch on.
