I'm not sure how much it cost, quite a bit though, my parents bought it. It's nice. Can't wait to try it out! :D

get the AE-18 Ibanez it's like $349 plays great for that cheap of a guitar, and has a full gloss finish, it's acoustic electric, i had it before i got my taylor. :wink:

Watch out for the lower end on the Alvarez line. I knew mine was too good to be true, as the neck has now pulled away from the body. It started with the glue getting more and more noticeable, and now I can slide a credit card between the neck and body. The thing always stunk like glue, maybe that was a sign. Anyhow, I spoke to the dealer I bought it from, who agreed to ship it back to Alvarez, and noted this was not the first he has shipped back recently for the same thing.

I expect to get it back somewhere in early '95.
