41 luther...definitely, but trippin billies....2/17/97...thats a fuckin tight version...way better than luther....stone charlie rose???? no way! there are way better versions...i dont like the warehouse on LS that much..

the dancing nancies and warehouse versions on the recently album kill all other versions...period!

P.S. i totally agree that crash is the best album ever recorded by any musicians for all of eternity...thats a fact.

shit, I've been listening to the Recently a lot lately because...well....it's the only Dave album/source that I have here at home :( and I agree that the Nancies is pretty sweet but the Warehouse is not as good as a lot of others. He messes up the lyrics and plus he skips the best part of the song at the end, "every man and woman look alive"....then the jam and then "its my blood down here, down from the hands of angels......" or whatever he says on the LS version. but the Watchtower and Halloween are fuckin' tight Recently. I like the Redrocks Recently way better than the Recently Recently. that's a lot or Recentlies

the " thats our/my blood down there" part is the best part of the song no question.

yeah that's it. It really truly boggles my mind that humans wrote that song. I mean when you just sit back and listen to it and take it in - its magical.

agreed. your singing is Divine also  well not really but it is very good I'd give it an 8, but that would mean that mine would be about a 5.5 :( ( I just read through that thread when you asked to rate your singing from 1-10. ) but yeah, I was gonna say this in that thread but what the hell, Dave's singing is unique and is hard to replicate. The reason being is that he doesn't sing """properly""" in the technical sense. He sings more from the throat than from the Diaphragm - the muscle that squeezes the lungs. He has gotten better over the years but if your a great singer technically, than I don't think you will be able to sound like Dave does on his songs. It just won't have that same cool sound that he can create singing the way he does. Am I making sense or not. Seriously, I think if you keep singing the way your singing, that your voice will get stronger and you will develop into a great Dave song singer. And I hope I will too :)
