I was watching Central Park and HOLY SHIT!!!

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Even in the CP DVD, if you watch, during Dave's freak-out-scat during Jimi, Boyd is trying to scat behind him or something...they totally edited out Boyd's voice! You can't hear him AT ALL, not even traces of his voice. I love boyd, though. He just gets that energy up high...

actually i can hear him. it sounds like shit though. he's just saying hey in the background or making noise or something like that. he only says somehting periodically, if you ask me, it doesn't fit at all. but you're right, i love boyd too, i just think he's fallen off the wagon as of lately.

Yeah, Boyd is cool shit. If I was cool as that... damn I'd be cool. If any member of the DMB was no longer a member I think I'd have a nervous breakdown. Now, I'm no expert on violin... dang'ed if I knew a damn thing about violin actually. But, at Central Park I felt by being there as though it was hands down the most high energy, out of control tight show that I've seen the boys put on. I don't recall hearing anything out of Boyd during any scat session put together by Dave at all. Maybe he was just saying something over the IEM... talking to other band members while they were playing.. maybe he was going "look at this mother lover, he's a mad man, give him a mic, a beat and he'll scat anyone's ass off, he's one bad brotha"... maybe he's going, "can't I input a little rap ala I Did It?".. who knows what he was saying, all that i know is they go seperate ways I'll be like an old dead head when jerry died, i won't leave the house for months and I'll spend my days sobbing away my weary life... not really although I would be distraught... but as Dave has said - disclaimer - not a word for word quote... one day the Dave Matthews Band will come to pass... hey, all good things must come to an end, don't burn the day... I'm sure it won't be soon and they keep jammin, i'll keep going and being a sucker for their tunes... they kick ass as a whole... Dave kicks ass "solo" but together they are an unstoppable force that would make darth vader and freddy krueger cry like babies... kick ass sea bass.. yo, i'm out... another stupid post brought to you in part by the foundation to help fund a better day for me.

I love it when dave and boyd get right in each other's face when they're jamming. Its like they're dueling banjos or something.

So I just noticed the "Maturreise" and the fact that you're from Switzerland. That's sweet, I grew up in Switzerland living there for 15 years (near Basel).

nice to know there are DMB fans over there! :-P

Did anyone notice how far down Boyd was in the mix (on the CD)? Whenever he has a solo, I can barely hear him! And I definitely can't hear him very well when everyone's playing.
