one sweet world intro?

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Ranting Thespian wrote:An ameture for not using a pick? Most of my guitar player friends can't finger pick for their life! I recommend all begining guitarists to not use a pick. The pick is a crutch, I say, only really needed for going really fast, or fast alternate picking (and still you can go around it). I even impressed my dad's good friend who plays guitar by just fingerpicking a song, and he's over 40.

Also, 80% of the time, TIM REYNOLDS doesn't use a pick. Also, David Grey has said how is starting to like the sound of finger picking and strumming than with a pick. Keep fingerpicking. Playing with a pick takes no time at all.
That's great to know, I've always felt weird for never using one, I guess there's no need to now.

Try not to rush the OSW intro. Whe you try and pick the tempo up too much you get into trouble.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away
