John Mayer a better guitar player than Tim Reynolds?

i didn't read any of the posts. but the ongoing discussion of whether Mayer is a better guitaris than Dave, well, it's like apples and oranges.

the only Mayer i like is when he's covering Stevie Ray. he does it pretty well, and i dig that shit.

but Mayer's songwriting all but sux (IMO). i think Dave is at least 452,000 times the better songwriter AND rhythm guitarist.

all who disagree can just go smoke a giant f*ckn bowl .... then listen and reconsider. ha!

I would not necessarily say that JM's song writing sucks. I mean have you really listened to a lot of it. Although I voted for the Orange, I do like John's music, and i believe that he is talented. but I am also very very very tired of John Mayer versus (insert any noun here)

edit: although I may take you up on that bowl offer.... :-D

yeah, i said Mayer can pull off some wicked SRV. i think Mayer is an excellent, but that about it.

compared to US, yes, mayer is awesome. he writes and plays popular songs.

in comparison to Dave, i can't understand how a comparison could be made.

haha, yea god must have all the time in the world to learn guitar. I mean, he made it. But enough of this Mayer junk. God knows i enjoy his music, but why do you care about him compared to others?

Anyways, Isaac, it has to be the chicken cause a baby chicken could not live on its own. it needs it mother to feed it, and keep it protected, and teach it to fly and such. :lol:
