In addition to reviews and what not. I could record me playing the thing if anyone is interested in how it sounds. I have a tascam so it wouldn't be hard to do. Right now I'm hoping the guy I outbid doesn't come back at the last minute (I'll be in class when the auction ends).

He put his phone number on the auction page. I'm sure someone just called and offered him a flat price, with the benefit of going around ebay's closing costs. There's still a listing charge if you end the auction early, but it's not near as much as it would be if the auction actually finishes. I've done that with stuff before. It's against ebay's TOS, but hey. It guarantees you get what you want. :)
