Jamming

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

but you can't intellegently be suprised that a tab site based strictly on dmb tabs has people that are huge dave fans and even idolize him. it's kind of the way things go. it's like going to a dave concert and expecting to find no dave fans. makes no sense my friend
yeah i guess i agree with you.

people need to try different styles. ive been listening to nothing but dave for like 2 to 3 weeks and it seriously affected my writing. and not in a creative way. more of a "omg that sounds like a dmb song!" way.

as for the corrected tab, hold on a sec and lemme go link you to the thread. i'm not basing it on video, strictly audio, off the Crash cd. and i know i'm not tone deaf, so i know i'm right.

edit: its in there, towards the end of the thread.

It's his work, so why not try and play it like him?

Throwing in variations and stuff is up to you, and if your suggestions are met with hostility, who gives a fuck? It's the wonder of music, what other people here (on a DMB website especially) have to say about the way YOU play it should be disregarded.

So like I said, play it however the hell you'd like, and try not to attack a whole group of people because of few of them were assholes.

Dude, take it for what it was. If you want to jam out you should have said so.
