Hardest Song to Play
stone came really really easy to me for some reason
but FTT was super hard. singing the chorus, while playing is near impossible.

one thing i noticed about dave playing... is that he can separate both his voice from his guitar, and it makes it look like he's singin' while someone else is playing so he can improv easier...gravesRR7 wrote:

i don't know how to explain it... but when you look at some other artist playing, they kinda sound like their instrument (jack johnson, bob dylan cat stevens and etc)
but dave can kinda wander off while playing,as if he was talking and not singing (ants marching)...
it's like talking to someone while you're playing...it's really hard to concentrate on both
maybe he's one of those guys who can sing one song, while playing another song without changing the rhythm/beat in neither one
Most people who can sing and play can do this to a certain degree. I can talk to someone and still play most songs without messing up.p1trick_82 wrote:one thing i noticed about dave playing... is that he can separate both his voice from his guitar, and it makes it look like he's singin' while someone else is playing so he can improv easier...gravesRR7 wrote:

I find Jimi Thing kind of tuff, only cause the intro pattern is weird, I suck ass at picking and getting things to ring out like Dave does with some of the finger positions is a bitch. Dodo isnt all that hard imo, neither is Tripping Billies once you get it down, I have trouble with Tripping Billies, the chorus is easy, its the verse thats really annoying cause there is a lot of moving around on the frets. Personally I love playing Everyday though, its not too difficult, it is at first like it was for me but I love playing it.

Dave's talent is in playn hard stuff and some times off beat and singin at the same time, he kinda separate his hands from his body its like there's 2 ppl 1 playn and one singin.
the thing that worked for me is playn a song alot and i mean alot just take the verse of the stone and keep playn it till u feel like ur hands are about to bleed then u`ll find that u had a muscle memory and u dont have to think about it coz ur hands will be doin all the work then start humming till u get it right then start sayn the lyrics and that should do it it worked with me in the stone but still not in FFT but its a work in progress
sorry for all the bla bla bla hope u find it helpfull
