The song to end all songs!!!!

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Best song is hard to say...some just have moving music...others have moving lyrics. To me, I think pig is a wonderful balance of both. Tripping Billies sends a great "live it up" message. Pantala Naga Pampa, though short, really helps me forget my worries. Can't forget Seek Up, but ya, I think that one's been covered. And even though I love em all...I can't say enough good things about Crush (Lover Lay Down comes in at a close second to great love songs)...He said everything I'd want to say to a girl that meant a lot to me...

"...Lovely lady, I am at your feet
Oh God, I want you so badly
And I wonder this, could tomorrow be
So wondrous as you there, sleeping?"

good thoughts indeed. Crush one of the songs that hooked me on to DMB and it was the first complete dave song I learned.

....k, so is it lyrics or songs? only kidding.

nobody has mentioned this one yet so i will remind everyone how awesome "warehouse" is. whenever i'm depressed i can always fall into the lyrics and music of warehouse.

"so why should we worry, sure enough things could be worse for you and me in the warehouse. don't you love to stay here, the warehouse!"

i first loved lover lay down and then i totally loved crash then dave wrote crush and you just can't say anything about crush, just sit and agree.

this is a horrable question, who's gonna be the first guy to slowly ramble on about every single fuckin song dave has written, ha. well i'm getting out right now...............well say goodbye is also so goo..........leaving, i'm leaving.

geez, I never even thought of Warehouse. good call. I think someone mentioned LLD and Say Goodbye though, but also good calls. Last Stop is pretty intense too.

i think #41 and #40 are his two most beautiful songs, but that's my opinion. i don't understand why 40 was never put on an album.

some songs they just leave for live stuff, like one sweet world, granny, seek up, all beautiful songs but remain solely for live shows.

Actually..."all songs except 'Minarets' and 'Seek Up' recoded live at Trax, Flood Zone and the Muse." Right from the linear notes.
