a d/f# is a 2X0232, i use my thumb on the 2 on the low E string. when a chord has a slash in it (d/f#, c/g) it means the second note (F# in the first one) is added as a base note. for the chord progression, it is Bm G A D/F# G A D/F# G. just look at daves part, he plays the E and the D string of those chords. it would be like if someone for Two Step play a regular Dm instead of 10 8 X 10. For us living any other ways was nuts. with all the goodie-goodies working shitty jobs for bum pay checks, took the subway work and worried about their bills were dead. they were suckers, they had no balls. if we wanted something we just took it, and if anybody complained twice they got hit so hard believe me they never complained again
