I don't like this way...
Slide doesn't sound well...
Just one thing...
In jkanter's video, it seems he doesn't pick up-down...
Now my question is: does Dave play it this way?

I've seen Dave play it by picking down on every note. Not sure if he plays it that way all the time, though... Similar to the stone where, at least on the charlie rose show, he only down-picksSciaracastro wrote:I don't like this way...

Are you sure Timmy plays it that way on the album? I don't doubt that Timmy played most of the recorded songs but i just don't think that way makes since, in a timmy sort of way. How credable is this little fun fact mbgreen?

Its credible. I've seen several shows on dvd where tim played it that way. Its actually more along the lines of tim's style to play it the way its tabbed in this thread.dmfollower wrote:Are you sure Timmy plays it that way on the album? Regardless, you can very audibly hear the slides...go listen to the album version. You dont get those kind of squeaks playing it the way dave does.

Dave picks up and down in the first verse, then changes to down picks in the next verse after the first chorus.dcanes wrote:I've seen Dave play it by picking down on every note.
