thats a great tab... mine is VERY similar to it... but the "chorus" is that whole "BOOM BOOM BOOM" section where he goes D and Cmaj7 but I can't get it to sound right when i play it... so im wondering if anyone knows if that is right or if they have any other ways to play it

those chords are right you just have to fool around with the timing/strumming. It feels/sounds like the notes are right it's just the changes that are weird

Go to http://www.harmony-central.com and find the version there. It uses a capo on the 4th fret and is all G, D, Em and Cmaj7. Piss easy, sounds great with a pick and it is fun to play.

The timing is 7/4 if that helps anyone.

Peter Gabriel is outstanding. It was cool to see Dave play it live and look around and see all these kids looking at each other, and say what is this?
Peter has alot of great tunes. Even the early genesis stuff was cool. It is unfortunate that all his shit tunes got the most radio play (sledge hammer, big time, and shock the monkey). However Peter doesn't use alot of guitar in his songs.

Its not perfect but I wanted to get it finished, I forgot that I even started it... Also, theres a tab for a 2nd guitar in standard tuning posted earlier in the thread. The 2 tabs sound great if played by 2 guitars together
