The first exposure I had to these DVD's was when Will "homebased" the 10-24-02 DVD Tree at DMBTabs.com.

I too was very concerned about this violating DMB Policy, and what the ramifications of this type of trading would do to this site. Anyone who knows me will tell you that I am very protective of this site...it means a great deal to me.

Anyway, I checked in with jkanter before getting involved with these, and he gave it his blessing. This site is in no way acting as a distributer of these DVD's.

I think you will find this discussed further on this thread:

Jpittman...fell free to move this thread to its proper location.

I would buy any DVD they put out. Since they havent put out a Dave and Tim DVD they have forced me to sneak around the net looking for bootlegs.

Damn them!!

yea, that's what i thought. i know for a fact that the signs were up though. but yea, i would think that they would have done something about it by now.

EDIT: besides, i looked at the set list, mostly older stuff. id like to hear newer stuff on a new cd.

Billboard is reporting that there are a couple of planned releases of CD/DVD sets in the coming months, one from the September 2002 Gorge shows and another from the upcoming Central Park show. Citing an unnamed source, Billboard's Wes Orshoski writes that a CD and DVD of the Central Park show will be released in November, and that a three-DVD, six-CD Gorge set will be released early next year. Music retailers have known for some weeks that something new from DMB would be released on November 4th -- presumably, that will be the Central Park release. Although the news of the Central Park CD/DVD is new, the planned Gorge box set has been known about for quite some time. Our thanks to Emily Mattox for the tip.

I was at the d&t show in carthage in april, and he said that they taped the show the night before...don't know if that means they're putting it out, but he did say the cameraman was a stank-ass
