First songs to play/sing

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

I tried harder stuff first, and I really got a feel for Dave's style and abilities. The first full song that I got was probably Crush, Crash, Space Between (standard tuned) and Lover Lay Down (even the chorus). Now I am about 50+ Dave songs deep, and I have been playing guitar for about a year, not quite that long. Peace to all.

yea it is. i HATE it and it such a great song too.
i can sing and play it at the same time, but i just have problems staying on key when in the key of B, just a little too high for my voice...

haha i have no idea about keys or crap. bartender seems pretty easy (storytellers at least)

DDTW does seem very easy and i love the storytellers version but i don't want to tune down to D

EDIT: and bartender you can play almost as well in standard.

UGH! why does everyone say ants?? its so frickin hard to mute the chords during the verse. plus im one of those weirdos who doesn't even like the song that much :lol:
