I'm not doubting you, i'm just in amazment, i've been playing off and on for 3 years, just recently, in the last 4 or 5 months started playing again, and when I learn a song, I practice it till perfection, maybe thats why I don't know 95% of his songs.. but I know over 60% of em...

I'm not on here to brag...I am actually not like that. Yeah, my other friends have been playing for a while...They told me I am not bad and showed me a lot of what I know. What songs, if I can play em, should I record. 95% isn't an EXACT number either...It's just I know a sizeable amount

I usually do something like this:
Code: Select all
e---------------------------
B---3-----------------------
G---0---0h4--p0h4p0--------5
D---4--------------0h4p0---2
A---5----------------------3
E-----------------------5--5
Seems like your going through same thing as me cold, playing 7 months here too, all i played was dave since the day i started and it helped me so much. My friends are amazed when i play the stone or billies. I played piano before, but only a little. My dad and uncles play so i guess it runs in family.

Yeah...Guitar wasn't so hard to pick up, but I already knew a crapload about music in general. Playing Dave on guitar helped a lot, because now a lot of other songs sound so easy. Bassoon is a billion times harder to play...I ahte that instrument!
