yeah The Stone would be more pick for most technical. between the picking and the fretting and keeping rhythm, its pretty technical. Other songs have some technical sections but as far as whole songs are concerned, The Stone is prolly the one.gcom007 wrote:probably stone, it requires you to have a descent handle on your picking technique, everything else is basically just strumming
most technically difficult songs...

good list. looks kinda like my top 5 favorite dave song listTOMAMI wrote:In order and what parts give me fits.
1. ANTS MARCHING (the verse it sounds like he picks and slides. Dave does some muting with his ring finger and index so he can strum or half strum it.)
2. WAREHOUSE ( the verse 7th fret on the B string I know he mutes below with his index finger but I still hit the strings above at times.)
3. TRIPPING BILLIES ( The verse with the slides and crap. What the hell is he doing?)
4.LIE IN OUR GRAVES (I know how to pick through the verse and all but I have still not seen him play it live and have a feeling he mutes to get that picking affect.)
5. THE STONE (Enough said.)

good, and you?
