It really just depends on how determined you are to play... as long as the will to play and take the time to practice with it for a while, it will eventually turn into something great... so really just go with what you like best and then you have even more reason to play it. just my two cents..

Some of the songs listed are way too hard to learn for your first Dave song. Try a song like "Lover Lay Down" to really grasp the Dave sliding style. Then "Lie In Our Graves" and "Greystreet" will outline the major and minor third inversions Dave uses to get his signature sound. After that all you'll have left to do is fine tune the strumming, muting, open string ringing... Did I mention strumming? Well, best of luck!!!

ddtw is really easy, imo. bayou is easy for me, but i dont know how easy it would be for someone starting over again. also, hunger and wtwe are easy.
btw, im tyler. ive been using this site as long as ive been playing dave songs but i never new about the forum until like yesterday.

on the front page of the site? jkanter, the site administrator hasn't updated the page is a while, don't really know the story. The songs are tabbed out, though, just check the sticky a few threads up

yea i saw that, that was a gift from god. i just thought it was weird that such a great site stopped putting up tabs.
