Its a Line 6 POD XT rack that he has off stage, it was also used on Busted Stuff for the title track, the wah pedal sound in the background is just the auto wah setting that he used with his electric guitar for some added effect. His electric distortion sound also comes from that rack I believe (Stand Up and Louisiana Bayou from what I have heard). Its on the official DMB gear list page on the bands website.

Ah it's a rack, it's not a pedal/stomp box.

I was thinking more along the lines of the green Line six stomp box or something.

I don't think anybody that sees live music can honestly believe that soaring reverb just comes from the air, of course it's from the board and/or his effects.

You can ignore that previous statement, good sir. It was simply a reference to an old inquistion on the mat with someone's response being the same as mine. I was expecting Filmdude to get it.

yeah all notes that he holds for like 10+ secs are delayed effects.

I thought the mat was a marker and a stomp box that cuts the channel on the guitar, could be wrong, prolly am.

We talked about this in another thread a while ago.

I would imagine that he has channel switchers under the floor mat so that he can switch between guitars and/or effects that are on the rack. I would imagine one of them is a footswitch for the Line 6 rack. Can you see wires running from underneath it at all or is it elevated because there might be something underneath because it looks totally flat and level with the stage when I looked at it.

I think it's actually Tim Reynolds.

He's not that big and he hides under it and actually whispers to Dave what to play.
