i agree with some of the other posts... whether you like his voice is all opinion... but i have yet to meet someone who can deny his passion for music. his screams, wails and facial expressions ad so much emotion to what he is singing! that is my favorite part of his voice.

Well, to me dave has a very poweful voice, not to say a tough one; I guess singing watchtower alone all the times he has, the way he has, for the time he has, it's a miracle he can actually still talk!
Although i think he doesn't have the same voice now than a few years back, but that's just obvious, he really forces it.
Personally i like the way he sings (a rather stupid statement I guess), but some people i had listen to the band, stressed the fact that they didn't like the "voice of the singer".
Still, I guess his accent gives him a distinctive aspect, while his passion and love for the music he is doing make it obvious that he gives his 159% every time he sings, no matter how fucked up his vocal chords may be.
Did he or did he not study singing????
Because at first I had some problems trying to get to the "comiiiiiinggg heeeeeeeeeeereeeeeeeee" of #41 for example. And also to the high parts afterwards.

that is probably true. as you sing more, you start to get more comfortable with your voice and sing better.mlb1399 wrote:I wouldn't say he was always good with singing. Some earlier audio's I have he really struggles hitting pitches. I think he has gotten a lot better at singing but by no means has always been good.
