cock the wrist man. Turn your hand towards the fret board and play using the side of your pinky.wAvy wrote:#41 is quite possible the hardest stretch for me ever, the chord he hits right before the last one, the higher C, destroys my hand. The one where you have to dislocate your pinky to play that note on fret #8.

I've known someone who played capo on the 4th so it was like nothing. I called him gay.wkpggrvn2001 wrote:capo anywhere, just moving up the neck changing the key, so the stretches arent so bad. basically slap on the capo and play it relative to where the capo is placeddmfollower wrote:I don't understand, you mean capo at the third fret?flandaneran wrote:does anyone else use capo for this song?

I can do the strech in #41, although is a tough one when I want to jam for a long time.

And crash

like if i hold crash instead of doing the switch that dave does for the entire song, that starts to hurt, and captain is just rediculous

me too. but even people with small hands can do it, its just a matter of practice. your fingers will do it one day. happened tome with that stretch in jimi thing (from the E to the E with a G# bass). just decided to do it one day.Appfro wrote:i was blessed w/ large hands so those stretches don't really get to me unless i have to hold them for a long time. like if i hold crash instead of doing the switch that dave does for the entire song, that starts to hurt, and captain is just rediculous
