as it is with all songs that are "hard"

Am I a slow learner? I must be. Christmas song is very hard for me to sing and play at the same time. I can never get the timing right the whole way through on the verses when I play along with the luther college cd. I can play the damn song but putting it all together like Dave I just can't. maybe I havn't put enought time and/or effort. Typical Situation is another example although I can play this one better. singing on the verses is tricky while playing.

the timing for christmas song really is different every time...he just throws the lines in any time during the guitar riff.

yeah you're probably right about that. Seek Up, I can do however although it took quite awhile to get the timing and then to learn to sing with it.

Listen to the LS cd or something where he plays it and sings the "sometimes I feel like Im falling" part, its really hard to sing along with, the rhythm screws me up real bad when trying to sing with. Everything falls apart when I try to open my mouth up while playing it.
