my hands are decent size, ive just never really practiced any of the big stretches enough to be really efficent with them. honestly, i probably know maybe 10 dmb songs, all of the way through on guitar. i try to stay diverse with the covers i play. id rather make original stuff than learn a lot of covers.HumbleMonkey wrote:i love having big handswkpggrvn2001 wrote:i dont think i will ever be able to do the stretches necessary for that song and a few others
It just takes determination really. I thought i had the smallest hands in the world until a friend of mine who'd been playing for about 4 years put his hands up next to mine and then said you wanna learn you just gotta be determined, his hands were the same size as mine... From there on out I believed I could play everything. A thing that helped me is that I was determined to play songs with huge stretches or nothing but them. Songs like.

Some people even have trouble with crash but the only trouble I had with it was the strumming rhythm.
Once you learn big stretches and play them non stop you'll open alota new doors and be much more confident in your abilities.
