i muted the d string for grey street, but i like it open for billies
For us living any other ways was nuts. with all the goodie-goodies working shitty jobs for bum pay checks, took the subway work and worried about their bills were dead. they were suckers, they had no balls. if we wanted something we just took it, and if anybody complained twice they got hit so hard believe me they never complained again

sounds like me. I do this for both grey street and lie in our graves on the jammlb1399 wrote:I always mute both strings. I use a little bit different fingerings than the way dave plays it. I always keep my ring finger on the G string and then althernate between my pointer and middle finger depending on what chord is being played. This way you can always have your pointer laying across strings to mute even when your not using the finger to fret a note.
