tripping billies alternate chorus

It could really work either way. If you play an F#m, or a D/F#.
the root for that chord is a D with the F# note held down with it. so its the D/F#.
But it could be played with either chord. They both sound fine.

but the later is more accurate and fuller, if youre only changing that one chord its the way to go
