Just a question about guitar theory.

dave lyrics

this is my first post, although i have been reading the boards for some time now. first, thank you guys for all the tips... they have really helped my playing!

as far as lyricists in the 90s go, i dont think the decade is completely void of lyricists of comparable talent to dave. i, for one, would place zack de la rocha of rage against the machine right up there at the top with dave. true, it is hard to compare zacks hip-hop style with daves, but from strictly a lyrics-standpoint, zack is tough to beat.

i also really like gord downie from the tragically hip. hes awesome. if you guys havent listened to the hip, you should check them out. they are huge in canada and played at woodstock '99 i believe (not that that is saying much). gords lyrics drive the hips music, and every song has some random meaning. if you havent already, you should check them out.
