I picked mine up for $35. It's quality. I love it. Get what YOU like though.Sciaracastro wrote:how much is it?dmbandummer wrote:I thought Dave used a Levy Boot-Leather Strap.
I could be wrong, I haven't been able to find any good shots of him with his strap.
That's what I use.
That's what Stefan uses.
That's what Mraz uses.
That's what millions of people use.
The Levy Strap is awesome. It's wide, thick / padded, soft.
In my opinion, it's the nicest strap I found, and I tried a ton of them before I bought this one.
I can't offer you much help on the Planet Waves Strap, but like I said before, I think Dave uses or used a Levy Strap.
Musician's Friend carries them.

They've got it for $45 USD. I got mine from a shop.

Well, in the late 60s (68-69), when he performed in the Ditry Mac (drummer from jimi hendrix, keithe richards on bass, eric clapton on lead, and of course John Lennon on guitar and vocals doing his song Yer Blues from the white album) on the Rolling Stone's Rock And Roll Circus, he had a much thicker strap. But he was playing a Gibson ES-335 at the time, not a Les Paul.grock wrote:i like the vintage looking thin straps of the 70's. they're just cool looking to have a thin little strap. check out slow hand sporting one here.
Yes, I am in a box
