for that statement to be true he would have to be a worse guitarist then yourself , which is not possible

I saw him play a very nice solo while playing a gold Les Paul with Daniel Lanois. Daniel opened up for DMB at the show I saw last year, and Dave sat in on a tune. The solo was really different, played in a harmonic minor scale. I couldn't believe my eyes... "Is that Dave playing a Les Paul? Holy Shit he rocks on electric!", I think those were my exact words

He played a cool solo on Two Step that sounded like some song by Sade at the gorge 2003
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

i just heard the listener supported jimi thing solo. i wasnt too impressed with it, even though it was better than what i could have come up with. i think i would rather hear timmy solo or santana, or boyd or leroi or.....
For us living any other ways was nuts. with all the goodie-goodies working shitty jobs for bum pay checks, took the subway work and worried about their bills were dead. they were suckers, they had no balls. if we wanted something we just took it, and if anybody complained twice they got hit so hard believe me they never complained again

I thought is "solo" from GGP was pretty sweet. It wasn't really a guitar solo, but the rhythmic stuff he added was awesome.
