Apparently Dave has a Taylor T5

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

If he owns one, Id would think it would only be for live gigs, kinda of like the chet. Of course, Daves proably owns a shit load of guitars. Most professionals do. I know John Mayer has over 10 electrics, as well as quite a few acoustics. What Id do for a SRV Signature 1...damn.

Im saving up for the John Mayer signature. Goddamn that will be sweet.

But this guitar is definitly a chet rip off. But before I really believe that, was there a guitar like the chet...before the chet?

nope chet is precursor to all thin bodied acoustics.

Nice, now I can proudly stand with my "chet rip-off". It kills me that they havent even tried to change the body shape. The Line6 guitar is the only one that tried to change..but they suck ass

This is true, he does play electric relatively low, even though he plays acoustic pretty damn high.
