Enjoy Amsterdam, I've been there a lot. Nice Guitar store off Rembrantsplein. Let me know if you need some suggestions.

excellent idea, this could be a huge deal jared, i think you would sell tons of copies, fuck inaccurate books, and innacurate videos, this would become huge i think, i wish i would have had it when i started, cuz i dont really need it now, but i'll still buy it and watch it just to support the project and check out the work you put in, i could get tons of people to buy it, needless to say, no matter how hard i try, my friends just cant play dave like me, i think if this is completed, and done well(which i have no doubts about your talents...) you could get your name quite well known, meeting with dave in the future maybe(depending on a lot of factors) but, i mean, think about it, there isnt nothing like this out there, before this site, my guitar teacher taught me dave, it sounded alright, but, i got here and it was different, the site is amazing, and the dvd would even surpass that after the entire collection was complete, you could get a really big name of this man, good luck, work at it and you'll get it done...
mad props to kanter, and i still say a group should be created to make regular monthly donations, i mean, think,... if a large group of members could be given some sort of incentive(i do not know what this would have to be, or even if it should be) they should just pay 5 bucks a month or something, times just a 100 people by that, its 500 bucks, that would be really cool, i think kanter deserves to be paid generously for the all work he has done, look at how much we have all benefitted, i get mad respect for my capabilities around here, and i wouldnt have any where near the dave capability i do if it were not for the site,

but, i dont need to go on, i posted my point,

have fun on the trip to amsterdam, i too, hope to go there one day(cannabis cup possibly?)

mad props to jared and the new idea

let me elaborate...

new idea as in, clearing up copyright troubles, releasing a bunch of dvd's, accurate tabs with tons of viewing options of both hands, all tabbed accurate as hell from videos, actually doing it to get it out, i am sure not many people on the site knew about this other dude, and frankly, i think kanter could do a much better job... i guess you are right and its not new..., but, improved, and more perks, etc. also, this guy may have some of the perks listed above, it doesnt really tell much on the ebay website, but, i just think kanter's way would be much more reliable, eventually hoping to release volumes of all songs over time, i bet that guy isnt as accurate, and couldnt show most every song like kanter may eventually do,

so, i guess i should have cleared up my definition of "new"

lord...I wasnt like upset or anything...it's all good...I'm just saying that Kanter dogged this guy, and I thought he did a pretty good job...I mean, his vids were better than the ones on this site...dont get me wrong, kanter is good, but this guy seemed a little better to me, and as of right now, I would buy a video off of this guy before anyone else...hopefully jared will post some new ones and blow my socks off...late.

its cool man, i was just trying to express the respect we all owe kanter,(why else would we be members of his site) i dont doubt this guy has better stuff as of right now, but as jared said, he was really in a hurry, and just wanted to get something out for us(well, the thing is for me, i live out of town and have slow internet, i cant even watch kanters videos or any others on my 56k, cuz it runs at 28.8 out here, and no other fast net is available out here, so i am disadvantaged either way...) but, i do have confidence when jared gets the time, the help, and the right equipment, that he will do a better job, i guess time will tell....
but, everythings cool, i wasnt trying to dis you at all, just discussion

i haven't had any trouble learning songs on my own with the tabs, but i definitely think this is a great idea. you could make some awesome money with this, because dmb just keeps getting bigger and bigger in this country

Great idea, what songs?

I think he meant he would just sell them through dmbtabs, so EBAY is most likely out of the question.
