hardest dave song to play

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

I just watch Dave on DVD's and his right hand rarely stops strumming. And he can fully strum single notes, I don't know how the hell he does it.

DDTW.. Just Barre Chords? I guess to each his own.
I was definitely being sarcastic. Dave doesn't play a single note on his guitar in Grey blue eyes, and DDTW has only four chords, three of which are easy power chords.
My bad :)

Every time I think I know how to play warehouse perfectly, I watch the 12-28-93 video and realize that no matter how well I am playing it, its far from perfect. No way is any dave song harder to play perfectly than that.

sorry if i offended you guys for putting a repeat topic up here, and thanks grandpagotgame for defending me. is jimi thing really that hard? i think i have it down real good but maybe its harder than i realized.
For us living any other ways was nuts. with all the goodie-goodies working shitty jobs for bum pay checks, took the subway work and worried about their bills were dead. they were suckers, they had no balls. if we wanted something we just took it, and if anybody complained twice they got hit so hard believe me they never complained again

On Some of the stuff. But watch some videos of the Stone. He strums the hell out of it and he is only hitting one string. And on Help Myself too, and there are so many others.

Well at least there's hope for me to be able to play like him some day. He just does it so well, and on almost every song he fully stums everything.

And all daves songs require a lot of patience to play them like Dave does. If you watch Pat's videos he gives a perfect example. He plays just like Dave. Sometimes it sounds to me like I keep getting worse and worse at Dave song's. But then I realize I am finally picking up on stuff that I didn't do before. LIke all the mutes in Jimi Thing.

Fool to think really kicks my ass to the point that i feel like a piece of defecation

the strumming on the old-school two step is impossible. that video from 93 i think where dave is in the store promoting R2T. the stumming for 2-step on the intro is unhuman.

I agree. Every once in a blue moon I can do the two step strumming correctly. Warehouse in 93 was like WTF??? He's is even struggling on it and he comments that it is hard to do.

The 2-19-99 Warehouse is pretty tough too. It is one of the faster versions out there.
