Thanks for looking out for me guys, i really appreciate it. i talked to a number of people, one being a singing coach (showed him my technique n all). he told me that i have the idea of the diaphram down, and that i have a unique singing voice, but as you guys mentioned he said that i was keeping each breathe in a lil too long and it was resulting in my brain getting a "natural buzz" that while it may feel cool, its only working against my natural singing voice. he told me that my problem wasnt anything too serious and that it seems to be improving as i practice my songs more and more so i'll just keep on practicing.
Another person i talked to was my doctor (whom also is a fellow musician, now how bout that) and he advised me that the main reason i was probably getting so "buzzed" was the coupling effect of getting lil oxygen to my brain, and my recent departure from using drugs. he told me that when my brain isnt recieving as much oxygen, it releases the same chemicals that it would when i get high. having a diminished tolerance to drugs, the "natural buzz" kicks my brain into what it believes is "being stoned" and that little buzz goes a long way when an ol junkie is running dry, so pretty much im getting high off singing, now aint that some crazy shit?

I totally believe that the first part of the info your "doctor" gave you was ture, the other half about getting stoned was his way of "getting you off drugs." He must have seen too many LifeTime afternoon shows

haha, na he doesnt care about me using drugs, its my decission not his. he knows the effets of marijuana and he knows how NOT dangerous it is (unlike our fucking government who rather lie and keep their image than put some bank into studies n such instead of bombing the fuck outta the rest of the "undeserving" world). its easy for me to believe what hes saying cuz the effects on the brain he was talking about are scientifically true, and since ive quit smoking pot, even just puffing on a cigg (which will cause my brain to have a similar reaction) will catch me a good 5 minute buzz. for anyone whos quit tokin up after being an everyday smoker, its easy to understand what i mean, but again thanks for the concern...
