Newbie Help Please

There's no shortcuts to guitar. Only practice and patience will pay off in the end.

The easiest songs to learn are the ones you know by heart.

i think that nancies is one of the harder songs to get sounding right, playing it mecahnically correctly isnt hard, but the way Dave plays it in that video from the Mraz concert that was in the rec/crit thread: thats what im goin for.

i think that his easiest songs are typical situation, proudest monkey, grey street, and haloween.

my favorites to play are so much to say, the best of whats around, what would you say, oh, and lie in our graves

Big eyed fish is very easy and Dancing nancies is pretty easy if you have listened to it alot especially when dave and tim play I would also try too much and watchtower to get used to some muting.
