Oh, ok, i see. he must have updated the tab after i learned. i'll post an audio clip of that part a bit later.

Hmm. I just checked, and it sounds the same to me. I might have added another go-around of the "Well sometimes a jimi thing..." part, however. Whatever, you get the idea though.

I dont mean that part, I just mean on the D, F, D, C thing, sounds like theres just extra strums, you didnt play it too many times around, if you know what I mean. But maybe I just play it different, its nit picky on matter which way it is, nevermind

Oh ok, I just play it different so it sounded weird, but its not like Dave plays it the same way everytime anyway

Your videos weren't exactly with kanters tabs, but thats a good thing because you are willing to add your own personal touches. I like how you add that little slide to the nature intro part right before the slide to the D power chord. Nice job.

I made this video for all those struggling with Jimi Thing. I explain most of what I'm doing, and the angle is pretty good, so you can see whats going on.

Hope it helps. :)

Oh, and please don't stream the file, instead download the file as they are pretty big. :)

Intro/Verse

Verse->Chorus Transition

On the C chord, don't forget the sus chord. (Just put your pinky 3rd fret, D string...It's not in the video, but it's very minor)
Another thing - Dave usually just mutes the 024 chord completely.

Trippin' Billies Verse
you just helped me out a lot with the TB verse bro...nice job as usual... thanks man

My Jimi Thing isn't what is on the site, but its what Dave plays. The official tab is missing some things.

I'm not really seeing how the Tripping Billies one isn't the same. ?

Of course, I have no basis for comparison since I have neither seen dave play billies nor seen a video. The way I play the verse is similar but has a lot of personal variations. For example, after I slide up to the B power chord, I hit the A powerchord immediatly after. I also hit the high F# on the last D power chord.
