did you read what I typed?Davy28 wrote:I mean I like everything about the albums except for the "turn david down and timmy up" policy. With BTCS it is not as much of a problem as it is with Crash and UTTAD.

Yes, and I'll clarify my point in case I confused anyone. I did not mean to say I dislike everything about lillywhite. The only vice about his producing is his turning dave's guitar way down and timmy's way up. Thats a big part, though, and it makes me prefer other producers over him.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

i've said this before..but you are a fucking dmb encyclopedia.Ranting Thespian wrote:Ok, the reason why Steve turned their guitars down is because he wanted to showcase the band more, not just the vocals and guitar. He wanted people to notice the band as one, instead of a singer/songwriter and a back up band. He wanted people to notice the other instruments, and take them as important as the guitar and vocals. Also, those albums Steve produced where their best albums. I think Everyday, Busted Stuff, and Some Devil are great, and have a fresh new sound, but the master was Lillywhite. If you don't like him, then throw away UTTAD, Crash, and BTCS.

yeah, and I myself am surprised that I am not obsessed. I don't take about dmb much outside the dmb crowd (meaning boards and such). Unless someone (or something) brings up the subject, and a conversation forms, I don't mention dmb.GSRLessard14 wrote:i've said this before..but you are a fucking dmb encyclopedia.
