If i had it all

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": There are five different types of chairs in this hotel room.

The x's mean to mute that string. I would use my index finger for the lower notes (I'm talking about the octaves after the G chord), and my pinky for the higher notes (i.e. index for the 3, pinky for the 5 etc.). And let your index finger hang over a little onto the D string so it hits it, but it doesn't press down hard enough to create an actual note.
