tim's crash part on storytellers

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

tim's crash part on storytellers

Unread post by erech » Mon Dec 15, 2003 9:07 pm

this might be somewhere in the forum, already, but i couldn't find much when I searched. Plus my question really only pertains to storytellers, cause im going only off of the video. so.... if anyone know what tim is doing during the first "boy's dream" it looks like he switchs to something after the x4x450/x4x452 part. He is adding some other bass note, or something on the E or A string, I really can't make it out. Does anyone else see what im talking about, or can point me in the right direction? thanks

i believe he plays the same bassline dave does for that part, but he just switches his fingers around to keep the 0/2 on the high e going

I take every gif I watch (which is A LOT) with a humongous grain of salt. But I don't let that grain of salt get into my eye and blind me to whatever truth can be found in what I'm watching. He is not any worse than any other poster here, and the people who claim he is just don't know what they're talking about. The demonization has gotten ridiculously out of hand.
