So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Recently Verse

I am having trouble witht he rythm of the recently verse
i can never seem to hear it correctly because of boyd's fingerpicking

i can get this part

Code: Select all

E:------------
B:------------
G:----4-------
D:-------0--3-
A:------------
E:-3----------
then some mutes (i think)
and then this

Code: Select all

E:-------------
B:-------------
G:-5-----------
D:--------5--5-
A:----3--------
E:-------------
i guess my question is the G(5th) played softly right after the D(3rd)
or is it more closely connected to the end part of the verse?

that was probably confusing but if anyone can understand it or possibly just make a recording of the verse that would be great

You should try downloading an acoustic version of the song.. like on storytellers. that might help you.
Its like... getting two birds stoned at once. (Ricky-trailor park boys).
