Tab Corrections

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Tab Corrections

Unread post by DMBrad » Tue Nov 05, 2002 4:14 pm

Great site! I realize that by tabbing so many songs so quickly, you can make a few mistakes. I just thought I would help the site out by going through the tabs and picking out some things that I think could be typos. I may be wrong about lots of these, but I just thought they deserved a looking over:

Ants Marching

Funk Intro
I think the note on the 3rd fret could be on the 4th fret, but I don't have a recording right here.

Verse
I believe there should be another note at the end. Either an open G or 5th fret of the D string.

Chorus
I think he plays the Bm chord with the D on the B string, while I think the A chord is the full open chord, and not just those three notes.

Tripping Billies

Nature Intro
I don't think that forth chord should be in there at all.

Chorus
I think the fifth chord should be on the 5th and 6th strings, not the 3rd and 4th.

Satellite

"Winter's cold..."
Last chord should definitely be X688XX.

"Rest high above..."
I think in the 2nd and 3rd chords, only the first four strings are played.
I think the 4th chord should be X4666X.
Also, the last chord should be X688XX.

I'm not trying to criticize you, and I'm probably actually wrong about alot of these things. I've just been playing these songs forever and there are a few obvious typos. But either way, good luck with the site. It looks great so far. I'll try to submit some more corrections soon if you'd like.
