It sure is a change in rhythm , try playing it as slow as possible and then take it from there , its really hard to describe a rhythm , you gotta listen to it carefully , get one of the Dave & Tim versions from the D&T tour 2003 , you should be able to hear the rhythm more clear there :)

does anyone else have trouble playing the whole song with a capo on the 7th? I can't hit those high barre chords.

The high barre's can be a little tricky at first , but like everything else they can be archived with practice :)

It goes from 3/4 to 4/4 time. I think.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

I believe it does. It's my favorite part of the song, especially how he up strums the C chord after the Am. just beautiful.

I don't have any trouble playing it with the Capo on the 7th fret. what barre chords?
good, and you?

I think he was referring to this part :

Code: Select all

"Remember we used to..."
Think Gravedigger
 B:---8------0-----0--------
F#:---8------1-----0-----3--
 D:---9------2-----2-----2--
 A:---10-----2-----2-----x--
 E:---10-----0-----x-----x--
 B:-8-8----------3-3---2-2--

the problem i run into with the capo on 7 is my guitar doesn't have a cutout so it's near impossible to get to the higher frets.

oh

x-3-5-5-5-3 is the same chord as that. I just play the standard C chord. it's a hell of a lot easier and sounds better in my opinion.
